The ride
The ride from Costa Teguise to Arrecife is about 9 km each way and almost flat. You leave the town beaches behind, follow the coast south-west past Los Mármoles, and ride into the capital along its seafront.
Since 2022 a promenade with a bike path runs along the coast from Costa Teguise to Arrecife. Ride on the bike path, not on the walkway: in Spain bikes aren't allowed in pedestrian areas.

Stops
Arrecife has cafés and tapas bars around the Charco de San Ginés and on the seafront. Lock your bike when you stop: a lock comes with every bike we rent.
Tips
The usual north-east wind is behind you on the way to Arrecife and in your face on the way back. Save some energy for the return.
