Why an e-bike in Lanzarote
Lanzarote is windy and most rides have a climb somewhere. An e-bike gives you a push when you need it, so a ride you'd skip on a normal bike becomes an easy morning out.
You still pedal: the motor just helps. Turn it up into the wind, down on the flat.
Ours is the Rockrider E-EXPL 100, an electric mountain bike: a motor in the rear wheel, a battery good for up to about 50 km, 29" wheels, front suspension and disc brakes. It rides the road and the dirt tracks to Papagayo and Famara.
