A bike for the coast and town
In Lanzarote the coast is almost flat from Puerto del Carmen through Arrecife to Costa Teguise, on bike lanes, signed cycle streets and a bike path by the sea. A city bike is the easy way to ride it: to the beach, to a café, to the next town along the coast.
Ours is the Riverside 120. The low frame means you step through instead of swinging a leg over, you sit upright, and one shifter runs all 8 gears.
It has lights and a bell, and the tyres handle a packed gravel path as well as the road. For long rides into the wind or up into the hills, take our e-bike.
