MTB Lanzarote: mountain bike hire

Mountain bike rental for the volcanic tracks, delivered to where you're staying.

Grey Moma Rock 26 mountain bike with front suspension and disc brakes, side view

Off-road on a volcanic island

Lanzarote has dirt tracks almost everywhere: along the coast to the Papagayo beaches, below the Famara cliffs and between the old volcanoes.

Our mountain bike is the Moma Rock 26: front suspension for the stony tracks, disc brakes that stop well on the descents and 21 Shimano gears for the climbs.

Mountain bike questions

How much does mountain bike hire cost?

Rent it for 3 days and it's €23 a day, for 4 to 7 days €20 a day, and for 8 days or more €15 a day. The longer you ride, the less you pay per day.

Will the bike fit me?

It's one size and fits riders from 1.65 m to 1.90 m tall, up to 100 kg.

Can I rent it for one day?

The minimum rental is 3 days. From there, the longer you rent, the less each day costs.

Is a lock included?

Yes, a lock comes with every bike. A helmet is €1 a day and a phone holder €2 a day.

Do you deliver the bike to my hotel?

Yes, anywhere on the island, and delivery and pick-up are free. We bring the bike to your hotel, apartment or villa at the time you choose, between 10:00 and 18:00, and pick it up at the end.

Is there a deposit, and when do I pay?

You pay the rental online when you book. The deposit is €100 per bike, paid in cash or by card when we deliver, and we return it when we pick the bike up.

Are the tracks hard?

Most are wide gravel tracks you can ride with basic skills. Some have loose volcanic stones, so take it easy on the descents.

Do you have e-mountain bikes?

Yes. Our e-bike is an electric mountain bike, the Rockrider E-EXPL 100, with 29" wheels, front suspension and a motor in the rear wheel. The Moma Rock 26 has no motor.
